This is the map that appears on The City Of Macon website was printed in 2020. Macon was gerrymandered in 2021 in an effort to level out the number if registered voters in each ward.
DO NOT RELY ON THIS MAP !!
This morning ( 4/1/26 ) I called the city clerk's office to find out where we can view the most recent map depicting the 4 wards of Macon. A lady named Candice referred me to the only map available which is posted on the city website. This map is posted above. The problem is that this map is not only illegible but it is NOT accurate!
I asked if there was a map available that was readable & generated after the gerrymandering in 2021. She did not know and stated that Mary Lou Craig was out of the office. I continued to ask questions. I asked if there was an online database that citizens could access to verify the ward which they reside in. The answer was no. I was told the city uses a map listed on "GIS" ( Wards not listed) in conjunction with a city database to determine a citizens correct ward ?
While a gerrymandered map ( post 2020 ) apparently does not exist, I went to work to discover an easy way for all of the citizens of Macon to verify their ward. What I discovered was an online way to verify your ward, verify eligibility to vote & to view a sample ballot.
Check if you are properly registered This website will also verify the ward you live in and supply a sample ballot
CLICK THE LINK BELOW
This is the official Missouri Secretary of State lookup tool
Confirms:
If you are registered
Your active/inactive status
Your registered address & county
⚠️ Tip: You must enter your name exactly as registered or it won’t find you.
Once you have entered your information you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page. You will see your personal information.. CLICK ON - "VIEW MY DISTRICTS" - Once again scroll to the very bottom of the page and you will see your ward listed... Then, go back to the previous page and CLICK ON - "View Candidates & Issues"- This page will display a sample ballot.
I hope this helps my fellow citizens of Macon and I hope the city of Macon posts this information on the City Of Macon Website..
See You at the polls April 7, 2026 !!!

I've been highly annoyed by this map for quite some time. I cant attest to the accuracy of it due to the inability to zoom in to read it. There has to be a better way than colored pencil and crayons. This is 2026.
Thank you so much for this information. You are really helping all of us!
