These two proposed constitutional amendments have generated significant debate across Missouri and could have long-term effects on how our state government operates and how Missouri raises tax revenue. Supporters and opponents have presented sharply different views, making it especially important for voters to read the ballot language themselves before deciding.

We encourage every Missouri voter to study Amendments 4 and 5 very carefully before voting. After reviewing the proposals, the facts seem to indicate that retirees & middle & low income citizens will be negatively impacted by almost all goods & services being taxed. We believe passing #4 & #5 could have significant NEGATIVE long-term consequences for Missouri taxpayers and for the state's system of constitutional governance.
Whether you ultimately agree or disagree with our position, we urge you to base your decision on the official ballot language rather than campaign advertisements or social media posts.
